We got into some deep discussions with some of the established brands, and saw some of the latest proposals. By chance, we bumped into a man from the TUV. The TUV are the main gatekeepers of safety in the accessories world. It was in some ways pleasing, and some ways disturbing to understand the state of testing in this sector. One day this will change, but it seems buyer beware is the lesson at the moment.
